Keep An Eye Out

In watching the team and its performance for the competition, four players who stand out in my opinion are Ajahrie ‘Castro’ Hosier, Kamali ‘Mali’ ‘Whiteman’ Looby, Twadedre ‘Twado’ Jacobs and Rakeem ‘Buty’ Joseph (from left to right).
Ajahrie and Twadedre both play central midfield while Rakeem plays center forward with ten goals as the leading marksman and Kamali plays between him and the midfield most of the times when he comes in as a substitute. The quartet shows a great love for the game and Empire-fashion fighting spirit, with the occasional display of tears whenever the team does not perform as they would expect or end up with the anticipated results. They are hardworking players and if they continue down this path, with the drive to give and learn more of and about the game, I could see that these guys will be playing major roles for the senior team in the near future.
Let us keep our eyes on these kids and do all in our powers, not forgetting our prayers, so that they can grow up to be the men that we would be so proud of, representing the community.
